About Us

Musso Resources is registered with the Louisiana Secretary of State as JPM Group LLC operating under the trade name Musso Resources. We are a local, Louisiana based construction and project management firm located in New Iberia, specializing in the structural elevation industry. With over 15 years of experience in elevations, Musso has extensive knowledge in tunneling, pile driving, lifting structures (slab, pier and beam, and slab-separate), footing, foundations, carpentry (decks, access decks, stairs, handrails, ADA ramps and elevators), final grade, punch list items, and working first-hand with engineers on design layouts, foundations, and lifting strategies. We are fully engaged during the entire process, attending every meeting with the homeowners and government agencies for pre-job, NTP awards, in-progress meetings, punch list walk-throughs, certificate of occupancy and final close out meetings.

Josh Musso is the President of Musso Resources and is one of two former owners of J&S Resources LLC. Josh has earned his reputation from working on large scale federal projects, including the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) and Severe Repetitive Loss (SRL) Program for the state of Louisiana and all Louisiana parishes. Josh was the first contractor to lift a slab house for the state HMPG program back in 2008. Since then, Josh has elevated over 400 slab and pier homes in Vermilion and Calcasieu Parishes alone and over 1,000 homes statewide.

We use state of the art technology when performing a structural elevation in the form of a computerized unified hydraulic jack lifting system, which allows the entire structure to be raised at the same time, by one operator, and allows less than a 1/10” (one-tenth inch) variance during the elevation process. We are the only company elevating homes in Louisiana or surrounding states with this computerized unified hydraulic jacking system, which is typically used in lifting drilling rigs and other heavy structures.
